Installing SSL certificates in SharePoint for LinkedIn and Twitter

The social connectors for LinkedIn and Twitter uses SSL for authentication and require a correct SharePoint setup.
Go to the Central Administration of SharePoint 2010 and open the Security options. Then click on 'Manage Trust'

Here you can install the 2 certificates needed for the social connectors to function properly. But first download the needed certificates from here
Thawte (for LinkedIn) : Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority.cer
Equifax (for Twitter) : equifax.cert.cer

Click on 'New', fill in the Name and upload the certificate file in 'Root Authority Certificate' field.
IMPORTANT: Use Internet Explorer for the uploads. It doesn't work in FireFox.

After installation the SSL certificates you will now be able to do a proper OAuth authentication for the social connectors.
